These two. Making my heart swoon. My first maternity session could not have gone any better. I mean, look at them. Sarah was glowing, and John was head over heels in love with her. Both of which made my job super easy. This session was also special because their baby, who will make his or her appearance at the end of this month, will be my first "Watch Me Grow" baby. I can't wait to watch him or her grow up!

We started the session at their house. I got to see the baby's adorable nursery, which will make it's appearance in his or her newborn pictures. Then we went outside to their hammock and took these fun shots. Sarah shared with me that this was how they announced their pregnancy, so I knew we had to include the book and shoes that they used in their announcement.

The wooded area near the Effingham Performance Center served as the perfect backdrop for the remainder of our session.  I can't get over how easy they made this look. Once I posed them, they just did their thing, and then this magic happened.

A quick outfit change and we moved to a slightly different location that was just perfect for these blanket shots!

The session was almost over and we hadn't gotten many pictures of Sarah by herself. When I asked if she wanted any alone, she wasn't quite sure, but did agree to let me take some. And boy am I glad she did. I mean wow, talk about a beautiful mama!

Here's to hoping this month flies by so I can meet their little bundle of joy!
