Adele- my first girl, my first "Watch Me Grow" baby, the first baby I attempted a composite photo on- I could go on and on. But what you really need to know is that Adele completely rocked her newborn session with pouty lips, squishy face, baby back wrinkles, and a sweet smile. She took a while to settle down and finally fall into a deep sleep, which included getting pee-ed on (I guess you could call it another first), but once she did she let me move her and get these magical images. Enjoy!

Started the session with photos with the new mom and dad. I love the little smile she had when mommy and daddy where kissing behind her.

From the moment I saw this outfit on Etsy, I knew that I had to have it. I have been dying to use it since it came in the mail, so when John and Sarah told me that they had had a girl, I was over-the-moon excited to put her in this. I'm just glad that Sarah loved it as much as I did!

And no baby photo shoot would be complete without a few bare bottom pictures.

When I was talking to Sarah about what kind of things she wanted me to bring for her session, she asked if I had a teepee. I told her that I unfortunately did not have one. But as I got thinking about it, I decided that I had to have one to pull off the look that Sarah wanted. So- I made one! I was very happy how it turned it, and it fit the little Indian crocheted hat a friend had made Sarah, and a floral crown I brought, perfectly.

We took advantage of Adele's deep sleep to do a few more poses on the beanbag.

And boy am I glad we did move back to the beanbag, because we were able to capture my favorite newborn picture so far! (This photo was safely taken by merging two photos where Adele's head was supported in two different places together in Photoshop.)

I can't wait to watch Adele grow up, starting with her three month milestone pictures in August!
